Malaysia King’s New Palace

With the current economic crisis, big giant projects that were seen running have since stopped. Unnecessary spending has been slashed to dust, but one man seems to be standing tall and wants his to go on, and perhaps not taking into account on what’s happening to the country, I present to you, the current construction of the Malaysia King’s Palace.

Yes yes, Malaysia is doing pretty darn well!

(State of denial perhaps?)

What about me?

What does it feel like when one is hammered with a slip disc. Let me tell you, it hurts, it hurts alot, physically, mentally and emotionally. I’ve since stopped running, I am told that I am not allowed to run anymore (permanent), I’ve also stopped rock climbing, jungle tracking, vigorious gym training and etc.

The pain comes randomly, it pierces through my lower back and it causes numbness on my right leg. It screws up my whole day, brings my mood from awesome to un-awesome. Perhaps, putting on a smile and saying that I am fine is the only way to cheer up the people around me.

I’ve stopped taking pain killers, they don’t work, instead they pretty much destroy my body. My own will my only capability to take in the pain, the sore, the misery. I really do hope that this will simply slip away.

The only time I feel painless is when I sleep, sleep. I reckon, that’s the only way for me to escape this. To sleep… deep sleep. Sigh…

I need this gone, I really do, I’ve ran out of excuses on saying that I’m fine, but I’m not. I miss those days, I do.

But thank God that he sent me such a great partner, one that makes me forget about all this, one that’s by my side all the time. Baby, I love you!

How To Stop Hunger

cup of tea

Have some english tea. And to make it better, have it with this lady, I’m sure you will stop craving for food! Gosh, I am hungry all the time… Gotta look for her quick before I start craving for snacks again.

Ohhh…. Gonna make Beef Wellingtons tomorrow, hope that the beef will pay off! Sweet stuff!

Sigh, work is going really sluggish today, getting clients that are constantly changing their plans, last minuite.

Another shitty big for the day, Link Ventures, the developer for Rajawali condominium in Subang  SS15 damaged my car some weeks back, and they have gotten my quotation for the damage. Guess what? They are not answering my phone calls now! Own up Mr Ben Loh! Answer calls for Gawd Sake!

So yes, another day in paradise.

Missing my Darling alot.

What’s My Dream Home Gonna Look Like

It has to be cozy, jazzy, private and oh, exclusive. I’ve been walking through the property market and have been searching for some good substantial properties just so that i can lay my hard earned dollars on them. There are places like KLCC and Bangsar, one word ouch for this place, prices are just too high, that said, the properties there are just too old.

Now now, what about Hartamas + Mont Kiara?  Well, by giving some thought and working on with some research, it clearly shows that quality vs price is fair in this area. I’ve been moving about looking for something cheaper, but the “something cheaper” also means something disgusting. I’ve been into some pretty nasty looking units recently and urgh, simply throws me off!

After months of analyzing, I’ve come down to 2 places, Kiara 1 I-Zen and Verve Suites. These 2 places are new and yes, they are pricey. Urgh, that just means that I’ve got to stretch my bank loan a tad bit harder. I love I-Zen, the fact that it’s surrounded with everything I need, great location, perfect facilities and a Starbucks in it. It’s only 6 months old.

Right after all the hype on I-Zen, came another prospect, something that actually beats all the good points of I-Zen, and it’s called the Verve Suites. What’s Verve Suites?

Verve Suites is where pure energy lives in. You can almost feel it in every bolt, beam and brick. And while it does not ask of anyone to be of a certain age, color or creed, it does encourage one to be of a certain state of mind. Being open to fresh ideas, getting excited by new challenges, finding serenity boring, these are the virtues of those who will find living here not just inspiring but invigorating. For it is more than just a residence, it is the Verve Suites.

I love the concept of bringing in your baggage and unpack right off. Verve Suites is fully furnished, every single unit. I also love the thoughtful mind, the mind that removed the whole entire penthouse and smacked in a sky lounge. Oooh, about the sky lounge, it’s sensationally amazing! A private bar, pool table, lounge chairs gym and of course, the open air lounge on the 2nd floor of the sky lounge.

Now, feast your eyes on these pictures:

Pretty yes? Now, when can I get hold of one of these, it’s just too pretty for me to rent, I want ONE!

I am not trying to be vain, not even close, but I want to stay healthy and in shape. With my Slip Disc acting up nowadays, I do reckon that its gotta do with the added weight I’ve gained recently. So, I’ve built up a Meal Plan to help me loose these gooey bastards. Here goes:

100 Calories, 25g Carbohydrate, 0.5g Fats, 1g Protein

255 Calories, 18g Carbohydrate, 22g Fats, 43g Protein
